Creativity is more contagious than fear. I began the HEXAGON PROJECT in 2019 as a slow growing hand stitched artifact of connection and empathy. Makers of all ages learn to stitch fabric hexagon shapes. They can keep their work or add to the project. So far it’s traveled with me to South Africa, Mexico, England, France and Spain and will continue growing through 2039.

Come stitch with me this Fall in San Francisco at Hunt and Gather and at Saint Joseph’s Art Society in San Francisco for “Packing and Cracking: The Art (and Response) of Gerrymandering.” Visit my calendar for details and please reach out to schedule workshops for 2025 or beyond.
