Catherine C. Sherman (b. 1968) is a Quilting Artist. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. Her body of work embraces geometric composition and symbols found in textiles and common materials for narrative-focused messaging.

Her quilts and 3-D pieces have been exhibited at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco deYoung Museum, the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles, the Randall Museum, and local and regional galleries. She is a proud member of ArtSpan and serves on the SF Open Studios Committee.  She is a member of the Northern California Women’s Caucus for Art, the San Francisco Quilters Guild, and the Modern Quilt Guild.
