Fall Seasonal Show at Hunt and Gather

I’m proud to be co-curating the Fall Show, IMAGINE at Hunt and Gather Gallery with the amazing DeeDee Hunt. We’re showcasing work that invites viewers to explore the complexities of the American Dream. What does justice for all mean, and what does it look like? The arts community embodies hope no matter the outcome of the upcoming presidential election.

LET iT RiP – installation

Tearing fabric allows us to  grieve and construct at the same time. Visitors are invited to tear fabric into strips for future use. In 2016, I started tearing fabric to grieve our divided country. Those torn strips became stripes and soon I was building an American flag with new colors, patterns and textures. I named the series BEYOND RED WHiTE AND BLUE.
